Please note:

  • You are not required to report into a Mosaic office; however, there is significant travel to client locations in Canada required for this role. (~50%)
  • Geographic flexibility: This position is open to candidates residing anywhere within the province of Alberta, Canada.
  • Ability to work independently with SMEs and develop curriculum for technical trainings is required.
Position Overview

The Lead Consultant will design and develop deliverables for solutions to meet Mosaic client needs. This individual will lead small teams and work closely with subject matter experts and development professionals to design curriculum and develop learning objectives, storyboards, content, assessments, and interactive elements. The Lead Consultant may be responsible for leading overall quality assurance on deliverables. This individual will facilitate group and individual discussions to provide coaching on instructional design methodologies. In addition, this individual will partner with project management and multiple stakeholders to consult on best practices and coordinate editorial and quality control efforts.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in Technical Training Development: A proven track record of developing technical training programs, particularly those focused on tools and systems. You should have hands-on experience developing highly technical curriculum.
  • Leadership & Collaboration Skills: Demonstrated experience leading teams, overseeing development efforts, and working cross-functionally with SMEs and other stakeholders.
  • Curriculum Design Expertise: Strong experience designing progressive curriculums that build competencies and knowledge over time.
  • Consulting & Critical Thinking: Ability to differentiate between training needs and operational issues, as well as the ability to analyze and solve complex problems that impact multiple teams or processes.
  • Project Management: Experience managing timelines, escalating issues as necessary, and ensuring project deliverables meet client expectations.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with ERP systems, utility/energy concepts, and business processes. Experience with OQ programs or similarly technical subject matter is highly preferred.
  • Effective Communication: Strong communication skills with the ability to work with diverse teams and influence decision-making processes.

Position requires extensive travel and ability to sit for extended periods of time. Specific vision abilities required by the position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.   • Work Environment: Work environment can vary greatly depending on client and location. Reliable transportation to and from work location required. Travel will be required depending on client/project needs.
