The Opportunity

As a Registered Nurse at Mill Creek Village, you'll play a pivotal role in providing exceptional care by leading a team, developing care plans, conducting assessments, and performing nursing interventions including medication administration, treatments, and resident transfers.

About The Role

This permanent part-time evening shifts 1500- 2300 (FTE 0.865) guarantees 32 hours per week and offers comprehensive benefits under the BCNU collective agreement.

As a Registered Nurse, you'll:

  • Perform resident assessments and develop individualized care plans.

  • Administer medications and treatments in compliance with professional standards.

  • Support residents with complex and unstable conditions, providing timely interventions.

  • Foster a positive, collaborative environment for residents, families, and team members.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols and quality improvement initiatives.

  • Exhibit servant leadership, prioritizing resident well-being and maintaining our mission of person-centered care.

Located in the beautiful Okanagan Valley, Mill Creek Village provides a welcoming and supportive community for residents and team members alike.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.

  • Current registration in good standing with the BCCNM.

  • Valid First Aid Certificate and Food Safe Certification.

  • Experience in long-term care or a similar setting.

Compensation & Benefits

This role offers competitive compensation under the Provincial BC Nurses Collective Agreement, including extended health and dental benefits, a municipal pension plan, and professional development opportunities. Level 3 RNs earn between $41.42 and $55.91 per hour, with additional benefits as outlined in the BCNU agreement.
