- Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on municipal vehicles, including cars, trucks, and heavy equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance to extend the lifespan of vehicles and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs, maintenance, and service activities.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure the fleet operates efficiently and safely.
- Formal training or certification in automotive or industrial mechanics.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in vehicle and equipment maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues.
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with colleagues and provide repair updates.
- Valid driver's license with the ability to operate various municipal vehicles and equipment.
