Position: Warranty Representative
Status: Full Time, Permanent
Location: Toronto, ON (Remote + Occasional Travel to Homes)
Overview: 3-5 years in construction, preferably in freehold residential methods; diploma in building science or related field. Training in dispute resolution and skills in managing complaints and facilitating resolutions. Strong communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and knowledge of the Ontario Building Code. Ability to travel as needed to visit home sites. Valid driver's license required.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve warranty claims, following established procedures and policies. Identify warranty issues using relevant technical standards and suggest resolutions based on the merits of each claim. Facilitate impartial negotiations and provide technical and warranty advice to vendors, builders, and homeowners. Conduct inspections, issue rulings, manage contractor services, and represent the organization at tribunals and public events
