ROLE - Guidewire QA - PolicyCenterLocation- TorontoHybrid position Role Description: Following an agile methodology, participating in planning & estimating sessions and stand up meetings. Proficient in preparing Test Estimation, Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test scenario, Test Cases, Test Reports, Traceability Matrix, Testing Sign Off and Test Closure Summary Report Instrumental in improving test processes by implementing new QA policies on complex projects based on client requirements Perform Test execution and meeting execution deadlines as per plan. Assign testing task to offshore and get the work done. Provide the offshore status to Customer via meetings and email. Attend hand-off calls with offshore and own complete delivery responsibility of both offshore and onshore team Managing multiple concurrent tasks in an environment of changing deadlines, priorities and requirements. Working cooperatively in a cross functional team environment
Essential Skills: Strong Experience in testing web applications developed using full stack technologies React, REST, Spring Boot, Java, Kubernetes (OpenShift or equivalent) both on-premise and AWS cloud environment. Proficient in preparing Test Estimation, Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test scenario, Test Cases, Test Reports, Traceability Matrix, Testing Sign Off and Test Closure Summary Report Hands on experience in databases like MS SQL, Oracle Experience in tools HP Service Manager, JIRA, Zephyr and related tools Experience using SoapUI / JMeter for service testing. Good to have:o Experience testing Guidewire PolicyCenter application.o Automation testing using Selenium or similar tools
