We're looking for a motivated and driven business-minded Senior Manager, Strategic Partnerships to join our vibrant team! In this exciting role, you'll play a crucial part in shaping our market expansion strategy and driving the company to new heights. As we expand our operations, we are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team and play a key role in securing access to critical infrastructure, managing relationships with key stakeholders, and ensuring operational and commercial success in a highly regulated environment. The Senior Manager, Strategic Partnerships will be responsible for developing relationships with public and private stakeholders, driving strategic site acquisitions, and navigating government processes and regulations to support the company's growth. This role involves working with municipal, provincial, and federal stakeholders, private property owners, and community partners to establish and maintain access to high-value transportation hubs while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and business objectives.

Your Tasks – Paint the world green

Business & Government Strategy:

  • Drive business growth by securing high-impact locations for new bus stops and stations, leveraging government relationships and private-sector deal-making skills.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with government agencies, municipal councils, and regulatory bodies across Canada.
  • Identify commercial opportunities within the regulatory landscape, ensuring business objectives align with government policies.
  • Represent the company in discussions with federal, provincial, and municipal transportation authorities and stakeholders.
  • Assess and mitigate regulatory risks that could impact operations and expansion.
  • Monitor and influence transportation policies, regulations, and legislation that impact the company's operations at all levels of government.
  • Prepare submissions, reports, and presentations for regulatory hearings and public consultations.

Site & Infrastructure Development:

  • Lead efforts to acquire and negotiate access to transit hubs, commercial properties, and high-traffic locations for bus operations.
  • Identify and secure strategic locations for new bus stops and stations, ensuring compliance with zoning, permitting, and safety standards in diverse jurisdictions.
  • Negotiate access agreements with private property owners, municipalities, and transit hubs across the country.
  • Work cross-functionally with real estate, operations, and legal teams to evaluate site feasibility and structure agreements.
  • Address community concerns and resolve operational challenges related to bus stops and stations.

Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Management:

  • Develop strategic partnerships with private businesses, transit agencies, and commercial property owners to enhance access to premium station locations.
  • Build partnerships with local businesses, transit agencies, and community organizations to enhance station access and amenities nationwide.
  • Serve as the company's point of contact for station-related inquiries and government relations matters.
  • Advocate for the company's interests in transportation planning and infrastructure development forums.

Your Profile – Ready to hop on board
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Urban Planning, Public Policy or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a business development, strategic partnerships, or infrastructure development role with experience working with government entities.
  • Proven track record of securing agreements with government agencies or private stakeholders to facilitate business expansion.
  • Minimum 1 – 2 years of project management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Canada's transportation regulations and public transit systems.
  • Proven negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with experience presenting to senior officials and business leaders.
  • Ability to analyze policies and regulations to identify risks and opportunities for the company.
  • Familiarity with real estate transactions, land-use planning, commercial leasing, or infrastructure development is preferred but not required.
  • Willing to travel as required, potentially including travel to the United States.
