    • Utilize AWS expertise to troubleshoot and understand system dependencies.
    • Leverage Python skills to perform technical investigations and automate monitoring processes.
    • Collaborate with senior engineers and leadership to provide insights on system improvements and potential optimizations.
    • Take ownership of problems, ensuring they are fully resolved by following through on escalations and maintaining communication with stakeholders.
    • Maintain a proactive approach, helping to establish best practices for incident management and prevention.
    • Work independently and demonstrate natural curiosity, continuously seeking ways to improve monitoring and escalation processes.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on AWS and system monitoring.
  • Proficiency in AWS services and cloud-based architectures.
  • Strong Python skills for troubleshooting and automation.
  • Experience with system monitoring tools (CloudWatch) and developing metrics.
  • Ability to analyze and diagnose technical issues effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to take ownership of issues until resolution.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience working in an escalation-based support environment.
  • A proactive and curious mindset, always looking for improvements and optimizations.
  • Ideally based in Halifax or Montreal.
