The Position:

Summit Search Grouphas been retained byWorld of Wateron the recruitment of their next General Sales Manager. World of Water, a leader in providing the purest bottled water, coolers, and water filtration solutions since 1976, is looking for an entrepreneurial-minded Sales and Business Development Manager to accelerate sales growth and enrich their customer experience.

The General Sales Manager will play a crucial role in leading our sales team, managing day-to-day operations, and developing strategies to grow our client base in a small-business environment. This hands-on leadership role requires a team-oriented approach and a willingness to work as if they own the business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B sales, negotiation, and strategic planning, along with excellent leadership skills and a drive for success, while working closely with owner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute B2B sales strategies to acquire new business clients and expand relationships with existing accounts.
  • Provide options/solutions for new customers inquiries and existing clients.
  • Set sales targets, pricing strategies, and revenue goals to drive business growth.
  • Identify new market opportunities, implement and develop.
  • Work closely with the franchise network to support their sales and operational success.
  • Work alongside delivery drivers, warehouse and office staff, ensuring performance and efficiency.
  • Assist in the hiring, training, and development of employees, including delivery drivers, office and warehouse staff.
  • Monitor staff performance and provide coaching, feedback, and support to improve productivity.
  • Assist with purchasing, inventory control and negotiating contracts with suppliers.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships by providing high-quality service and solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Post-Secondary Education in Business Administration, Commerce considered an asset.
  • 3+ years experience in a B2B role with demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Strong negotiation and leadership skills with a business development mindset.
  • Knowledge of pricing strategies, sales forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Customer-first mindset with a passion for delivering outstanding experience and building long-term loyalty.
