Primary Job Functions

  • Ensure department GP meets or exceeds expectations to deliver successful outcomes.
  • Promote world class customer experience and consistency from the eyes of a customer.
  • Coach service staff to become customer advocates with compassion to customers at a fair value.
  • Foster continuous improvement projects to encourage innovation.
  • Administrative tasks such as managing time off requests and scheduling.
  • Participate in selection of team members.
  • Set team expectations and manage team interpersonal concerns.
  • Coach, conduct performance appraisals, and discipline team members, as necessary.
  • Set team performance goals and track progress towards goals and expectations.
  • Monitor daily team tasks and ensure tasks are proceeding on schedule.
  • Communicate with customers, other departments, and managers to ensure that repair orders are handled effectively.
  • Follow up on Qualitrics surveys.
  • Provide administrative support to foreman.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in similar role.
  • Two (2) years' experience working in a truck dealership or automotive dealership required.
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Self-motivated with strong time management skills.
  • Ability to problem solve and make operational decisions without oversight.
  • Excellent supervisory & leadership skills.
  • Previous Procede software experience an asset.
