We are looking for an outstanding Business Development Representative to fuel our growth. You will be responsible for sourcing and qualifying new business opportunities in well defined verticals, through outbound prospecting, inbound lead follow-up, and targeted strategic outreach. You will work very closely with the Clik2pay Business Development and Marketing s teams to drive Clik2pay growth and expand our market reach.

What will you do?

  • Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and research potential customers through various channels, including LinkedIn, cold calling, and email outreach.
  • Qualifying Leads: Engage with prospects to understand their needs, qualify them based on company criteria, and schedule meetings for the sales team.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records of all interactions in Hubspot and follow up with leads to nurture relationships.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales and marketing teams to refine messaging, improve outreach strategies, and optimize lead conversion.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities.
  • Performance Metrics: Meet or exceed KPIs related to outreach volume, lead qualification, and sales meetings booked.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle objections and build relationships with potential customers.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot) is a plus.
  • Previous experience in payments is an asset.
