The Programmer Analyst Level II will be required to work with the MSIS PM/BA as well as with the development and support resources of the .NET DevOps Team to provide in-depth analysis, development and knowledge transfer to meet the goals of the client and the team with regards to the MSIS Enhancements initiative. This assignment will involve working closely with the Manager and clients to ensure that software solutions meet the business needs of the clients and fit the overall strategic vision of the OCIO. 4 Template last updated: 2025-02-24 MSP Resource Requisition Programmer Analyst Level II MSIS Enhancements 2.3 Assignment Details Working under the direction of the DevOps Manager and the MSIS PM/BA, the responsibilities of the Programmer Analyst Level II will include, but not be limited to the following: Review current design of MSIS system and using knowledge of this large system in conjunction with knowledge of the technology stack (MS .Net and related), analyze information and business requirements for the development of secure functional components that meet the needs of the client. Liaise with users to determine appropriate solutions. Verify accuracy and completeness of solutions by preparing test plans and sample data, and testing them by means of unit, functional, integration, system and user acceptance testing. Provide in-depth knowledge transfer of major system components, interactions, known issues, etc, and document progressively. Assist with the implementation and secure integration of applications and enhancements, including any required security assessments. Assist with writing or updating operation instructions and system documentation (as required). Analyze and assist with system integrations (e.g. ePayment). Translate business requirements into systems design and technical specifications. Complete any other client-related, initiative-related, or support-related tasks as required.
