Primoris Canada is a infrastructure contractor serving major firms in the oil, gas, power, petrochemical, and heavy oil industries and include services covering tailings and hydro-transport pipeline construction and maintenance, storage tank construction and maintenance, industrial facilities multi-discipline construction and maintenance, piping fabrication, and pipeline integrity services.
SUMMARY
The Materials Receiver is responsible for the coordination of site materials and incoming/outgoing shipments and will be the main contact for any Materials related questions (freight information, tracking shipments, incoming inventory, material requisitions, equipment requisitions, shipping coordination, etc.).

Location: Locations vary by project. Head office located in Acheson, AB
Travel/Accommodations: Out of town travel and accommodations will be provided, if required
Hourly Rate: $26.00-$36.00, OT available
JOB DUTIES
- Supervise the offloading of materials from carrier
- Inspect materials for damage, overages, shortages, and compliance with purchase order specification
- Document and report the receiving inspection in accordance with the Quality Assurance System Program and HSE Program
- Identify and tag non-conforming material and quarantine as necessary
- Return all shipment information to supervision
- Ensure materials are stored and maintained in a suitable manner and environment
- Perform periodic materials inspection to verify material counts, conditions, location, and status
SKILLS
- Superior knowledge of pipe, fittings and valves
- Familiar with “Bagging & Tagging” or “Kitting” process
- Knowledgeable and experienced with a formal QA program
- Computer skills
- Familiar with HSE regulations pertaining to the care, custody, storage, and handling of goods, materials, and consumables
- CSTS-20
- Must be physically able to lift 50lbs
- Able to work well in a team environment
