Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment in the manufacturing facility.
- Perform regular preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and make necessary repairs quickly to minimize production downtime.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manuals for proper equipment installation and maintenance.
- Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve equipment issues.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and reports.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and performance.
- Valid 433A Millwright License (Ontario).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems is an asset.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety.
