THE POSITION

ATTA Elevators is seeking an experienced Elevator Mechanic to work as a Resident Mechanic in London, ON area. This position will report directly to the Regional Vice President, Jason Di Federico and will require a Union membership with the I.U.C.E Local 90. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, service, and troubleshooting of elevator systems. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.

Duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

Perform routine maintenance and inspections on elevator systems.

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.

Respond to emergency service calls and perform necessary repairs.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.

Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.

Collaborate with team members and provide technical support as needed.

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skill Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience in elevator maintenance and repair.

Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Valid drivers license.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Must reside in the London area.

Must be on call rotation evening and weekends
