Reporting to the Services Superintendent, the Services Production Engineer is ultimately responsible for continuously monitoring and optimizing the Effluent Treatment Plant (Aerobic and Anerobic) processes and monitoring boiler efficiency and boiler water chemistry in a sustainable way through RCA and standardization.

Responsibilities:

  • Always Work safely and promote safe working habits.
  • Investigate production and process losses and breakdowns.
  • Develop and perform process health checks to ensure compliance with standards and regulations associated with site operations.
  • Responsible for training and coaching the operation teams on defined standards and procedures to close any gaps in the skills matrix.
  • Provide technical support for the development of standards/systems (CL, CIL, SOPs and OPLs) to enhance effluent treatment plant and boiler reliability.
  • Responsible for developing, implementing, and tracking CL standards to achieve performance targets.
  • Provide and continuously develop process and technology expertise.
  • Support projects team with new initiatives.
  • Lead and support ongoing improvement activities, e.g., green & black belts, kaizens, 5s

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Excel.
  • 2-5 years proven experience in wastewater treatment systems and/or boiler operations
  • Strong problem-solving skills and logical approach.
  • Ability to perform data analysis and present data effectively.
  • Understanding Health and Safety practices
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
  • Strong organization and planning skills with excellent prioritization
