Autoport Limited is seeking a hardworking Red Seal Automotive Service Technician to join our team!

At Autoport, our Red Seal Automotive Service Technicians must be highly self-motivated, committed team plays with a desire to learn. Automotive Service Technicians are experienced tradesmen who work as a team to maintain production standards without compromising their quality of work. We are looking for a dedicated full-time, unionized employee who has in-depth knowledge and a background in technical diagnosis and repair, as well as electrical systems. Located in Eastern Passage, you will enjoy working alongside passionate individuals in a motivating work environment working Monday through Friday from 8:00AM-4:00PM.

Qualifications and Requirements

Automotive Service Technician License

A valid drivers license with a clean driving record

A minimum of 5 years experience as an Automotive Service Technician (including apprenticeship)

In-depth knowledge and a background in technical diagnosis and repair, as well as electrical systems

Strong written and oral communication skills

Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to multitask

Highly self-motivated with attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines

Committed team-player with a desire and willingness to learn as part of further personal development

EV Training is considered an asset

Willing to travel for OEM training (expenses are paid by the employer)

Strong Computer Skills Outlook; Internet applications; ADP (intermediate); Work Instruction/Information Systems (WIS); TIPS; Start Diagnostic System (SDS); SD Media; Xentry Flash
