Job Title: Training Consultant

Job Type: Full time/12 months contract

Location: 111 Progress Avenue Scarborough

Reporting to the Director, Organizational Development & Learning, the ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating comprehensive training programs.

Training Facilitation and Coordination

• Proven experience in identifying training needs, designing targeted programs, and delivering high-impact training sessions.
• Strong communication skills to engage participants effectively and convey complex information in an accessible way.

Instructional Design & Learning Technologies

• Experience in creating interactive and immersive eLearning content, ideally with tools like Articulate, or other instructional design software such as Vyond, Synthesia.
• Knowledge of LMS administration (specifically UKG) to track and manage training records accurately.

Project Planning and Management

• Demonstrated project planning skills, including the ability to scope, prioritize, and manage multiple training initiatives on schedule and within budget.
• Skilled in coordinating resources, timelines, and milestones to ensure training programs align with organizational goals and employee development needs.

Analytical Skills for Assessment

• Familiarity with post-training evaluation methods and the ability to translate feedback into actionable improvements.

Adaptability and Collaboration

• Ability to work closely with departmental leaders and provide backup for team members.
• A willingness to support administrative needs as required, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to team success.
