Are you a detail-oriented logistics professional with a passion for delighting customers in the e-commerce space? Do you thrive providing outstanding customer support while driving sales?

If so, Spaze Furniture is looking for a Customer Service and Operations Specialist, like YOU, to join our growing team.

Note: This position is remote, with Spaze Furniture planning to open an office in Vancouver, BC. Once established, this role will be hybrid requiring in-office work 2-3 days per week.

Your ability to connect with customers over the phone and email, combined with your experience managing e-commerce operations, makes you an invaluable team member. From overseeing warehouse and delivery logistics to closing sales, you bring enthusiasm, expertise, and care to every interaction.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Operations, this role takes the lead and owns everything on the customer service and operations front. In the US market space, you will be responsible for:

(1) Logistics and Operations (60%)

  • Manage third-party logistics to ensure on-time, safe and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Utilize Shopify to handle order processing, order statuses, and shipping arrangements.
  • Dispatch orders through third-party vendors, ensuring efficient and timely delivery.

(2) Customer Service (25%)

  • Deliver customer support with professionalism and care via phone, email and live chat.
  • Craft email responses with 2-3 curated product options to inform purchasing decisions.
  • Proactively resolve order and service issues to ensure a seamless shopping experience.

(3) Sales (15%)

  • Use product expertise to recommend tailored solutions and close sales with confidence.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of Spaze Furnitures collections, materials and designs.
  • Brainstorm and execute new ideas to drive growth in the e-commerce space.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

  • Operations Experience: More than 3 years in operations and logistics, with a focus on detail-oriented workflows.
  • Customer Service Expertise: 3+ years in customer service, including experience addressing inquiries via phone, email, and live chat.
  • Sales Acumen: At least 2 years of phone sales experience, with the ability to provide customized recommendations and close sales successfully.
  • Shopify Knowledge: 2+ years of hands-on experience managing a Shopify store, from managing online order and coordinating logistics to delivery.
  • US Market Knowledge: Familiarity with the US e-commerce landscape to help drive initiatives and meet goals.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills to oversee logistics, track orders, and ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: A genuine passion for delivering top-notch customer experiences at every touchpoint.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to convey important information clearly and professionally across various channels.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with e-commerce tools and warehouse management systems is an asset.
