Are you a Computer Science or Computer Analytics Specialist with strong Project Management skills and experience ready to embark on a thrilling career journey and contribute to the growth of a leading technology company? As a Quality Assurance Analyst & Execution Specialist, you will lead StaffStat on its roadmap, collaborating with our development team, utilizing AI and computer analytics to develop a leading edge work force management technology App. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of technical proficiency, project management capabilities, and a user-centered approach to development. Reporting to the CEO, you will champion innovation and enhance StaffStats role as a leader in workforce intelligence for the senior care field. This is a full time position in our Sudbury Office.

Quality Assurance Analyst and Execution Specialist:

  • Act as a subject matter expert to identify, collect, and analyze data sources, developing and advancing initiatives and programs.
  • Audit database logs.
  • Generate insights through analysis to guide business decisions and strategies.
  • Measure Product Improvements and present insights to senior leadership.
  • Create user-focused reports and dashboards, adhering to industry best practices.
  • Measure effectiveness of initiatives, identify trends, emerging issues, and build baselines for future metrics.
  • Assist in preparing reports for the management team, contributing to informed decision-making.
  • Support the ongoing development and optimization of StaffStat, evaluating opportunities to automate or streamline processes.
  • Design the functionality and flow of new features.
  • Support DevOps work including GCP and production line, etc.
  • Perform system, functional, integration, regression, and smoke testing.
  • Document, triage, investigate, and re-test bugs and failures including critical troubleshooting.
  • Analyze test results and defects throughout the testing cycle.
  • Manually test and verify Web, Mobile Application, and API calls.
    Provide client demos and training as required.

Leadership and Coordination:

  • Lead the coordination of the development team through all phases of the application lifecycle, from requirements gathering to testing, support, and maintenance.
  • Manage project timelines and deliverables for all new releases.
  • Conduct training on new releases, equipping the team for client-facing roles
  • Prioritize feature development and bug resolution in collaboration with Senior Leadership and Developers.
  • Participate in on-call rotation to provide technical support.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned.

What you bring:

  • Bachelors degree or diploma in Computer Science, Analytics, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript and scripting (HTML/CSS).
  • Familiarity with Jest, Puppeteer, Python, PyTest, and Selenium is an asset.
  • Experience with MeteorJS and ReactJS is optional.
  • Strong knowledge of Project Management processes (Open Project / JIRA).
  • Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure (Google Cloud Platform is optional).
  • Ability to design and develop test strategies and cases for functional testing.
  • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and organizational skills.
  • Leadership experience is essential (2 to 5 years)
  • Proficient with Office 365 (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Politically and culturally sensitive, with a willingness to travel occasionally.
