SIEL Human Solutions is a HR Consulting firm offering strategic customized end to end solutions.

Our company is seeking a Part Time Human Resources Generalist.

Reporting to the CEO, the HR Generalist will be responsible for providing support to our client located in Regina, Saskatchewan. In this role, you will be required to work on site with staff and management on the day-to-day operations of the HR Department.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the management team in the day-to-day operations of the HR Department by assisting with the development of HR initiatives that will ensure strategic growth and development for the company.
  • Coordinate and assist with ongoing performance management and employee relations with staff and managers.
  • Full cycle recruitment that includes drafting job postings, sourcing for passive candidates, completing pre-screen interviews, references and providing offers of employment to successful candidates.
  • Ensure all HR best practices are adhered to, and strong internal controls are applied to preserve confidentiality and discretion as expected.
  • Coordinate the development of new HR policies and ensure they are aligned with the overall corporate strategy.
  • Liaise with managers and employees across the organization to help build strong relationships and trust with the HR team.
  • Facilitate the onboarding and offboarding of staff while making recommendations for new programs and changes as needed.
  • Maintain employee files and records and ensure they are up-to-date and confidential.
  • Administer the corporate benefits plan and act as the first point of contact for any inquiries.
  • Participate in committees to help drive and maintain employee engagement.
  • Additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • Post secondary education in Human Resource Management from an accredited Canadian university/college.
  • HR certification is an asset
  • 5+ years of experience in human resources and or a similar role.
  • Ability to work onsite (This is not a remote or hybrid role)
  • Knowledge of HR policies/procedures related to recruitment and selection; compensation and performance management; training and development; health and safety and applicable labor standards and employment law.
  • Proven success in delivering strategic HR solutions
  • Deep knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources and employment law.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of service and professionalism.
  • Strong computer skills: MS Office applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly professional and able to represent SIEL Human Solutions internally and externally to the organization.
  • Ability to work with private and confidential documents.
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team with flexibility and willingness to learn and to take initiatives on a variety of tasks and projects.
