Job Description
  • Project Administration: Oversee all conveyor system projects for future Vehicle Process Engineering launches.
  • Project Feasibility & Execution: Manage projects from the feasibility (pre-study) phase through execution, ensuring alignment with financial and operational requirements.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead a cross-functional team to achieve project goals and engineering strategies.
  • Conveyor & Facility Integration: Bridge, support, and manage conveyor and facility projects, including architecture development and cost estimation.
  • Engineering Strategy Development: Establish engineering strategies, track project progress, and ensure resource allocation (FTE planning).
  • Automation & Industrial Networks: Oversee areas including Conveyor, Automation, Robotics, and Industrial Networks.
  • Capital Expenditure Optimization: Work towards Capex reduction, asset reutilization, procurement, and efficient engineering design.
  • Global & Regional Sourcing Coordination: Collaborate with the purchasing department to align sourcing strategies at both global and regional levels.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Ensure alignment with Stellantis Vehicle Process Engineering goals and strategies.
Qualifications

Basic qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or equivalent or HSD
  • Minimum 5+ years of engineering experience in an automation environment
  • Experience managing a technical team.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in forecasting and estimating cost associated with manufacturing equipment and projects.
  • Distributed Control System troubleshooting and problem resolution experience.
  • Strong understanding of Conveyor machine and process
  • Innovative thinker with excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Demonstrated team leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook and SQL)
