Job Description

The House of Commons' Digital Service and Real Property is currently looking to create a pool of candidates for anticipatory staffing of the IT Product Delivery Operations Analyst role.

The Digital Workplace Products and Services division ensures stable IT product delivery and operations. The team oversees deployments, maintenance, and support, providing technical guidance and collaborating with stakeholders. They investigate incidents, drive proactive changes, and uphold the stability and health of Digital Service and Real Property products.

As the IT Product Delivery Operations Analyst, you'll help deploy and maintain digital products across IT environments, troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions. Your responsibilities include recommending deployment procedures, collaborating with stakeholders, and maintaining product health. You'll also support process improvements, quality assurance, and potentially assist with enhancements. Strong organizational skills, bilingual communication, and the ability to work independently are essential. As a Product Delivery Operations Analyst, you'll combine technical expertise, teamwork, and communication to ensure successful IT product delivery.

Digital Services and Real Property has a requirement of a 24/7 support model and work activities related to this role may require working irregular hours, overtime and providing on-call support to meet our operational requirements.

Qualifications

Education :

  • Graduation from a college or technical institute in the area of information technology or other related fields, or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience in the field of technology.

Experience :
Note: A student work term, co-op, or internship may also be considered as experience.

  • Experience providing technical support by investigating incidents, reproducing issues, troubleshooting, and implementing resolutions;
  • Experience collaborating with clients and vendors to ensure service delivery and address requests effectively;
  • Experience escalating issues to, and evaluating performance of Vendors and keeping management informed;
  • Experience adhering to and updating technical standards, processes, and policies while utilizing appropriate tools.

Assets :

  • Experience working with one of more of the following products: MS Office 365, Microsoft Teams Rooms, and devices running Windows, Android, iOS, and Mac operating systems;
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune Management;
  • A strong understanding of Active Directory and Group Policy;
  • Exceptional technical writing skills.
