POSITION OVERVIEW
1/ST is seeking a Financial Systems Administrator to play a pivotal role in our finance team, contributing to the management of financial systems, providing technical support, preparing comprehensive reports, and ensuring strict adherence to accounting principles and company policies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops and maintains an understanding of financial systems dependencies, workflows, integrations, and processes.
- Maintains user manuals and training materials; provide training and support to internal financial systems users.
- Administer the entire suite of financial software at 1/ST including: Microsoft Dynamics365 Business Central, Yooz, and Datarails.
- Partner with the Finance and Accounting teams to evaluate requirements for reporting and ensure the system is utilized appropriately to achieve optimal results.
- Perform data integration, data quality and standardization of data to ensure the highest standard of financial data.
- Partner with the corporate and business unit IT teams.
- Maintains accounting records in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and company policy.
- Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulations within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate's degree in finance, accounting, computer science, or information systems required, bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central is critical
- Experience with Yooz, Datarails, Concur, Expensify, and/or Great Plains a plus
- Exhibit exceptional critical-thinking and problem-solving ability
- Possess excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
