This role is responsible for providing administrative duties to assist in the daily operations of the Community Futures Lakeland office. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of administration processes and the ability to learn and maintain the financial records.
Responsibilities:
- Provide receptionist duties.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail.
- Maintain administrative, bookkeeping, and finance files as per established policies and procedures.
- Timely answer enquiries from internal and external personnel, customers, and stakeholders.
- Assist in drafting correspondence and briefing notes as requested.
- Assist with data entry and database management.
- Assist with creating and presenting workshops and presentations to clients and local stakeholders.
- Attend internal and external meetings as required.
- Special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Experience or post-secondary education in office administration is an asset.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Work productively and professionally, with strong time management.
- Knowledge of or experience working within the Lakeland region.
- Willing to learn and acquire new skills and knowledge.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and business analysis tools.
