Job Title: Network Analyst (Banking/Fintech)

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Network Analyst to join our team in the Banking/Fintech sector. This individual will play a critical role in managing and optimizing technology infrastructure, ensuring that all networks, systems, and applications are running efficiently and securely. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust network solutions that support business operations in a dynamic and fast-paced industry.

Experience Levels:

Level 1: Less than 5 years of experience

Level 2: 5 to less than 10 years of experience

Level 3: 10 or more years of experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Technology Implementation & Support:

  • Prepare detailed implementation plans for specific technologies, ensuring that the deployment aligns with business goals and technical requirements.

  • Install, configure, and monitor various facets of technology, including hardware, software, and network components.

  • Continuously optimize technical installations to improve performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution:

  • Respond to and troubleshoot user problems related to network performance, connectivity, and system malfunctions, ensuring timely resolution of issues to minimize downtime.

  • Identify root causes of technical problems and provide actionable solutions to improve network performance and security.

• Ongoing Maintenance & Upkeep:

  • Regularly review and maintain up-to-date knowledge of technologies and products supporting the network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.

  • Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continually improve network architecture and security.

• Network Optimization & Security:

  • Continuously analyze network performance and suggest optimizations to improve efficiency and reliability.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure robust network security, minimizing risks and protecting sensitive financial data.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Must Have:

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Network Analyst with a strong understanding of network systems and architecture.

  • Proven expertise in troubleshooting and resolving network issues, as well as optimizing system performance.

  • Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools, hardware installations, and configurations.

  • Familiarity with network security protocols and best practices in protecting sensitive financial systems.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively diagnose and resolve network issues.

• Nice to Have:

  • Security Clearance – Enhanced Reliability (Preferred, but not required).

  • Experience with Network Security protocols and tools.

  • Knowledge of Wide Area Network (WAN) and Storage Area Network (SAN) architectures and technologies.

  • Certifications in network-related fields (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+).

  • Knowledge of networking technologies and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, VPN, routing/switching).
