As part of our team, your responsibilities could include, but are not limited to:
Developing and preparing diagrammatic plans for solving complex business, scientific, and technical problems using computer systems of significant size and complexity.
Analyzing problems outlined by systems analysts/designers by evaluating factors such as information transfer, data processing, sorting requirements, and the format of final results.
Selecting and incorporating available software programs into solutions.
Designing detailed programs, flow charts, and diagrams, indicating necessary computations and sequences of machine operations for processing data and producing results.
Translating detailed flow charts into coded machine instructions and collaborating with technical personnel to plan programs.
Verifying the accuracy and completeness of programs by preparing sample data and conducting system acceptance test runs with operating personnel.
Correcting program errors by revising instructions or modifying the sequence of operations to ensure proper functionality.
Testing instructions and assembling documentation including specifications, flow charts, diagrams, programming, and operating instructions to ensure applications can be easily modified or referenced later.
Level 1: Less than 5 years of experience
Level 2: 5 to less than 10 years of experience
Level 3: 10 or more years of experience
Proficiency in Java, C++, and J2EE
Experience with CICS, JavaScript, and Crystal Reports
Familiarity with HTML, Perl, and TCP/IP
Experience with COBOL, DB2, Oracle, and SQL
Knowledge of XML, ABAP (SAP), and .NET
