Bayview Trucks & Equipment Ltd. is a Full Service, Parts and Sales dealer for Kenworth Trucks and KUBOTA farm and construction equipment, with 5 locations in New Brunswick (Saint John, Fredericton, Moncton, Woodstock & Bathurst) and two in Nova Scotia, New Glasgow and “COMING SOON” to Dartmouth.

Reporting to the Service Manager, the Service Advisor is a confident, energetic, CUSTOMER FOCUSED member of the Service department.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Greet and WELCOME customers. Open Repair orders with accurate and thorough information, including the details of the vehicle concerns, to assist with proper diagnosis.
  • Verify open warranty recalls or campaigns available for the customer.
  • Confirm Warranty eligibility and process the warranty claims.
  • Work with Service Foreman and technicians to maintain clear communication with the customer and ensure that their concerns are addressed quickly.
  • Maintain this communication with the customers throughout the repair process, including, the customer's approval of the repair, an estimate of the cost and an expected time of completion.
  • Ensure all charges are calculated and posted with accuracy to ensure timely close of Repair Orders
  • Identify possible upcoming Preventative Maintenance services with customers and schedule for them.
  • Maintain an organized workspace and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • May include other administrative duties as assigned by the Service Manager or Foreman.

Requirements:

  • Strong computer skills with an emphasis on Windows-based programs and MS Excel & Word.
  • Dealership Experience
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills with the ability to prioritize and focus in a fast-paced environment
  • Cooperative and team-oriented personality with a professional positive attitude.
