Summary
In the role of warehouse team lead, the primary responsibility is to ensure that every part that enters and leaves the warehouse is accurate, on schedule and handled with care. The warehouse team lead is responsible for overseeing all warehouse functions.
Duties and Core Responsibilities
- Receive incoming parts. Including counting, bagging, tagging, entering into the ERP, and put away into bin locations.
- Picking parts for service orders, truck replenishment, customer orders and interbranch shipments.
- Parts picked to be assigned in the ERP and physically moved to the proper bin location.
- Review of the Warranty Bins to see if it can be thrown out or left for further review.
- Work with Tech's to ensure that they pick up their service orders and replenishment parts in a timely manor.
- Ensure all documents are stored in accordance with company policy
- Cycle Counts to be performed as outlined by the Warehouse Manager.
- Tech Truck Counts to be performed as outlined by the Warehouse Manager.
- Pack orders ensuring that all items are correct and orders arrive to customer undamaged.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Leads the warehouse team with all daily operational functions pertaining to in-bound and out-bound activities.
- Drives and motivates the team to achieve daily goals and objectives.
- Verifies and corrects any errors related to inventory volumes through picking/packing/put-away or shipping/receiving.
- Assists in providing team member training, development, engagement initiatives and executing performance management.
- Runs reports for the management team.
