Veterinary Purchasing Co. Ltd (VP) located in St. Marys, Ontario, a 25-minute drive from North London, is the largest Veterinary Owned Distributor in Canada. Our primary purpose is to ensure that Veterinarians have the supplies they need to provide healthcare to all types of animals. Be a part of the Supply Chain Industry and join our team. We are currently looking for like-minded individuals to join our Customer Experience team in a Bilingual Customer Experience Representative role.

Bilingual Customer Experience Representative

Receive, investigate and resolve complaints from member clinics regarding orders, such as, missing or incorrect product, damaged goods and orders not received. Help to resolve customer service issues in Ontario, Quebec and the Maritimes.

Additionally, this role will also oversee and monitor VPs digital and e-commerce solutions which includes understanding industry trends and the competitive landscape. These solutions include but are not limited to the B2B website, vendor reporting platforms, as well as the Customer Resource Management (CRM) platform.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Investigate member practice complaints, for both English and French speaking customers, in a polite and timely manner with a focus on customer service.
  • Liaise with other departments to resolve member practice complaints and ensure customers receive the products ordered.
  • Issue credit notes, as appropriate.
  • Record error information as a result of customer calls or emails. (Internal and external errors)
  • Trace lost shipments.
  • Assist with order, shipping, and delivery resolutions specific to customers in Quebec.
  • Bring any recurring issues to their managers attention.
  • Liaise with carrier companies regarding delivery issues.
  • Understand the Returned Goods Process.
  • Enter member practice orders, as required.
  • Understand and follow all applicable Standard Operating Procedures as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Health & Safety:

  • Works in compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
  • Report any health & safety violations or hazards to manager.

Good Manufacturing Practices:

  • Follow and understand all relevant Standard Operating Procedures with respect to Good Manufacturing Practices.

Skills and Knowledge Required:

  • Customer service experience.
  • Written and Verbal Communication Skills (English & French).
  • Problem Solving Skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Organization/Time management skills.
  • Works well on own and as part of a team.
