Our company is growing and we are looking for a highly motivated and team player professional to join our Accounting team as a Financial Reporting Associateat our Maple Ridge Head Office.
This is a long-term, full-time employment opportunity, reporting to the Financial Reporting Manager.

The Financial Reporting Associate will...
- Create, prepare, develop and/or assist with monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reporting
- Develop monthly Work on Hand Reports
- Work with purchasing and inventory departments on necessary accounting functions including purchase orders and stock transactions
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of departmental budgets
- Print and provide various cost reports for other members/departments of the company
- Record shop order transactions
- Assist with month, quarter and year-end activities
- Record and post journal entries as required
- Assist with A/R, A/P and payroll as require
- Assist with other bookkeeping functions as required
- File as required
- Perform other office-related duties as required

Education and Experience
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a fast-paced, demanding work environment.
- A post-secondary degree/diploma in finance/accounting is required.
- Formal education in accounting and/or Finance from a Canadian institution is a strong asset.
- Experience with a large-scale ERP system is required.
- Inventory experience is an asset.
- Proficient in working with Microsoft Office.
- Experience in the construction industry would be considered an asset.
- Full-cycle accounting experience is an asset.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience would be considered.
- Enrollment in the CPA program is considered an asset.
Work Conditions
PMP employees work a standard 40-hour work week, but hours of work may vary based on business requirements from time to time.
This is a full-time, office-based position.
Compensation: $60,000 to $70,000/year + 5% RRSP + 100% Company-Paid Health & Dental Benefits + Life Insurance + LTD + AD&D benefits.
