Primoris Canada is an infrastructure contractor serving major firms in the oil, gas, power, petrochemical, and heavy oil industries and include services covering tailings and hydro-transport pipeline construction and maintenance, storage tank construction and maintenance, industrial facilities multi-discipline construction and maintenance, piping fabrication, and pipeline integrity services.

SUMMARY

The Foreman is responsible for providing direction to a crew of tradespersons or related employees as outlined by the General Foreman.

Location: CNRL Albian - Fort McMurray, AB

Anticipated Start Date: April or May (2025)

Shift: TBD

Travel: Flights provided to site from Edmonton or Calgary

Accommodation: Camp available

JOB DUTIES

• Ensure all work being performed complies with Company and Client Safety rules, as well as OH&S standards
• Participate in daily/weekly safety meetings
• Plan and coordinate work to be performed to achieve targets
• Provide crew with direction of work to be performed
• Participate in the creation of work progress updates
• Oversee the cost-effective use of materials and consumables
• Ensure trade personnel have the required skill level, training, experience and knowledge to perform the tasks assigned
• May perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be an Alberta ticketed journeyman (or hold a journeyman certificate recognized by AIT)
• CSTS-09, CSO, or BSO
• Must be physically able to lift 50lbs
• Able to work well in a team environment
• Organized and self-motivated
