Salary:

Location:Toronto (Liberty Village)
In-person, 5 days a week

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

Order Management:

  • Efficiently input purchase orders into the system, ensuring accuracy in buyer information, delivery specifications, product details, and volumes.
  • Facilitate seamless order processing and timely delivery by collaborating closely with supply chain, customs brokers, and other relevant parties.
  • Provide prompt order acknowledgments, confirm production details, and communicate estimated time of arrival (ETA) to the leadership team.
  • Responsively escalate issues pertaining to orders, delivering updates and resolving concerns effectively.
  • Maintain communication between product development, finance, quality, logistics, and sourcing teams to ensure seamless communication.

Logistics and Shipping:

  • Strategically plan and coordinate pickup and delivery arrangements, liaising effectively with logistics partners.
  • Produce/review logistics documentation and freight and customs clearance formats for moving loads being shipped to clients.
  • Arrange efficient trucking services to facilitate seamless product transportation.
  • Methodically track shipping charges for head office sales, reconciling expenses with precision.

Reporting & Project Coordination:

  • Prepare insightful weekly inventory and stock update reports, providing valuable insights into inventory trends.
  • Prepare the platforms weekly project reports detailing the timelines and updates for clients.
  • Proactively produce ad-hoc reports as requested by management, delivering actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Maintain project plans and records for the platforms ongoing projects.
  • Identify/update/maintain risks, deliverables, and action items for the weekly project logs.

Market Analysis and Research:

  • Develop market analyses and reports based on emerging market trends to help inform leadership decisions about new business opportunities.
  • Market research on shelf pricing for finished goods to establish price baselines for new/existing products.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary degree/education in project management or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in Project Management
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and software
  • Capable of delivering accurate results in a fast-paced and dynamic atmosphere
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as in teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English
  • Expert in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Problem-solving and proactive approach, ability to think creatively about how to address challenges.
  • Strong work ethics with a high level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
  • Ability to work successfully with people from different backgrounds and cultures.
  • You are results-oriented, adaptive, flexible, and thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel required.
