THE TASK: You will be responsible for the overall digital commerce strategy and execution for Laline Canada. Your mission is to make Laline.ca the digital flagship by making it the most desirable place for consumers to discover, learn and shop Lalines products.
Key to success will be the ability to balance data-driven strategic thinking with pragmatic operational decision-making, with expertise in leveraging technology to support business goals.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Ecommerce Site Development & Management
Create and lead the end-to-end e-commerce strategy for Laline Canada, ensuring alignment with brand vision, growth objectives, and customer needs
Oversee website development and improvements, in partnership with Laline global, and with third-party partners where applicable to deliver optimal customer experiences
Prioritize ongoing development / enhancements - enabling new features and capabilities
Manage the digital roadmap including support requirements, planning, and budget
Execution of campaign launches, new product launches, and general site maintenance
All site merchandising, content refreshes, and product catalogue, navigation system etc.
Technical SEO management and maintenance.
Production Support: overall health and stability of the site including site-speed, mobile performance, Accessibility/AODA compliance, Data/GDPR/CASL compliance etc.
Inventory management and fulfillment processes with Operations & 3PL team
Manage setup and support for live activations for point of sale (POS).
Performance Optimization of the site performance KPI's: Traffic, Add To Cart, Engagement, Conversion Rate, Revenue KPIs
Digital Marketing
Build and manage the digital activation plan for owned D2C platforms with a clear understanding of our customers omni-channel experience
Create plans to meet sales targets and manage expenses accordingly
Build and execute CRM strategies to grow the database, enhance customer retention, engagement, and loyalty.
Owned & Paid Media: Own and manage traffic across all digital channels
Manage end-to-end execution of all paid media campaigns, including strategy development, briefing, performance analysis, and optimization for all platforms (Search, META, Tik Tok, YouTube etc). This includes oversight on budget allocation and spending by campaign and platform
Maintain and manage the affiliate marketing performance with affiliate publishers
Act as the primary liaison between the media agency and the internal teams
Leverage data-driven insights to inform segmentation, personalization, and lifecycle marketing initiatives
Provide detailed performance reporting and analytics for campaigns on a daily, weekly, monthly basis
Work collaboratively with the creative team for asset requests and creative needs
REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
Proven experience in managing an e-commerce website with hands-on troubleshooting capabilities.
Strong understanding of UX/UI, merchandising, and online conversion strategies.
Expertise in SEO, social media marketing, and digital advertising.
Familiarity with CMS platforms, payment systems, and return management processes.
Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze metrics and optimize performance.
Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to partner with others. Strong communication & intrapersonal skills
Ability to work well with a variety of levels and functions within the organization
