We Are In Search Of...

A skilled and motivated Product Owner to lead the development of our next-generation video platform, focusing on cloud infrastructure, AI, IoT integration, and video streaming. This role will report to the Product Manager and work closely with the Software Development team to deliver high-quality, scalable features that meet business goals. You will be responsible for managing the product backlog, writing user stories, and facilitating Agile processes to ensure timely delivery of features.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Ownership: Define the product vision and roadmap for cloud features, workflow engines, IoT, AI, and video streaming.

Agile Methodology: Lead Agile processes including sprint planning, standups, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews.

User Stories & Requirements: Write user stories with clear acceptance criteria and collaborate with the R&D team to break down complex features.

Backlog Management: Prioritize and refine the backlog to ensure alignment with business needs and technical capabilities.

Effort Estimation & Prioritization: Work with the R&D (Software Development) team to estimate effort and prioritize features for each sprint.

Cloud Product Expertise: Leverage AWS to design and implement cloud-based features, ensuring scalability and performance.

Technical Understanding: Collaborate with development teams on tech stack choices and ensure product requirements are met.

IoT & AI Integration: Integrate IoT and AI technologies to enhance platform capabilities.

Video Streaming: Use your knowledge of video streaming technologies (e.g., HLS, DASH, RTMP) to improve performance and user experience.

Metrics & Reporting: Track KPIs, measure feature performance, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

What you bring

• Experience with video streaming platforms, workflow engines, or related products.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, microservices, and DevOps practices.
• AWS experience and familiarity with cloud architecture, scalability, and security. AWS certifications or cloud-related certifications are a plus.
• Proven experience as a Product Owner in Agile environments for software or cloud-based products.
• Proficient with Jira and Confluence for managing workflows and documentation.
• Strong understanding of tech stacks and programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
• Experience writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and managing backlogs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• IoT and AI experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with video streaming technologies is highly desirable.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially with remote teams.
• Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
• Interest in staying up to date with cloud computing and industry trends.
