As a Real Estate Listing Specialist with The Bagga Team, you will play a critical role in helping homeowners sell their properties efficiently and profitably. Your primary responsibility will be to generate, secure, and manage real estate listings while providing expert guidance, strategic pricing recommendations, and outstanding client service.
This role requires strong communication, negotiation, and marketing skills, as well as a deep understanding of the Edmonton real estate market. You will work closely with sellers to ensure their homes are marketed effectively, attract the right buyers, and sell at the best possible price.
Compensation:$40,000 - $80,000
Responsibilities:- Schedule and conduct listing presentations with potential sellers to promote exceptional customer service
- Call clients weekly to provide feedback on their property listing to keep them engaged and improve customer service ratings
- Manage all aspects of MLS listings, including filling out listing paperwork, posting to MLS, posting to social media, and producing a marketing plan that leads to quick sales
- Prospecting and conducting lead generation activities to create new business
- Send a weekly report to clients on their listing status so we can maintain our good customer service standing
Key Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Prospect & follow up with seller leads via calls, texts, emails, and in-person meetings.
- Conduct listing appointments to educate clients on the market, pricing strategies, and home preparation.
- Maintain regular communication with sellers, providing updates on market activity, showings, and feedback.
- Provide top-notch customer service, ensuring clients feel supported and informed throughout the process.
Listing & Marketing Strategy Execution
- Conduct accurate property evaluations to recommend optimal pricing based on CMA reports and market trends.
- Coordinate staging recommendations, professional photography, and marketing materials for listings.
- Write compelling listing descriptions and ensure accurate MLS data entry.
- Develop and implement marketing plans to maximize property exposure through online platforms, social media, and print advertising.
- Host open houses and virtual tours to attract buyers and promote listings.
Negotiation & Transaction Coordination
- Negotiate offers on behalf of sellers to secure the best terms and conditions.
- Review contracts thoroughly, ensuring compliance with real estate regulations and client interests.
- Work closely with transaction coordinators, lenders, and other agents to ensure a smooth closing process.
- Manage contract timelines and deadlines, ensuring no details are missed.
Time Commitment & Professionalism
- Available to work evenings, weekends, and flexible hours as needed to accommodate client schedules.
- Attend weekly team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on market trends and sales strategies.
- Maintain professionalism and a positive attitude when dealing with clients, colleagues, and industry professionals.
- Strong phone manners – ability to communicate clearly and confidently with clients.
- Excellent follow-up and organizational skills, ensuring no leads or opportunities are missed.
Technology & CRM Management
- Utilize CRM software (Follow Up Boss or similar) to track leads, client interactions, and follow-ups.
- Leverage digital marketing tools (social media, email campaigns, and online advertising) to enhance listing visibility.
- Stay updated with the latest real estate technology and tools to improve efficiency and service delivery.
- Ability to use or quickly learn Real Estate specific CRM and marketing/lead technologies
- Strong communication skills, time management skills, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to use real estate CRM to keep client data safe and orderly
- Ability to work on your own and motivate yourself
- Excellent understanding of the real estate market conditions and how to utilize market analysis
Qualifications for Real Estate Listing Specialist
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate must meet the following qualifications:
- Active Alberta Real Estate License (or in the process of obtaining one).
- A minimum of 1-2 years of real estate experience is preferred, but we welcome highly motivated new agents with strong sales backgrounds.
- Proven track record in sales, negotiation, and closing deals (real estate experience preferred, but high-performance sales professionals will also be considered).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – ability to build rapport with clients and maintain professional relationships.
- Strong phone manners – confident, clear, and persuasive when speaking with clients.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using CRM systems (Follow Up Boss, MLS, DocuSign, and social media marketing tools).
- Strong organizational and time management skills – ability to handle multiple clients and deadlines simultaneously.
- Self-motivated and driven – ability to work independently while also being a team player.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and flexible hours to accommodate client schedules and market demands.
- Ability to provide a high level of customer service and ensure a seamless experience for sellers.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license – must be able to travel to listing appointments, showings, and open houses.
- Professional appearance and demeanor – ability to represent The Bagga Team with excellence.
