The Construction Manager will work with multiple teams and stakeholders, overseeing and managing construction projects from start to finish. In this role, they will work to ensure that the projects are completed on time, within budget and according to client specifications.

We are seeking a highly organized and dedicated Project/Construction Coordinator to support the construction management team (CMT) in safely and efficiently executing construction work. This field-based role requires regular visits to the construction site to provide on-the-ground support for ongoing construction activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate activities between the CMT, engineering team, contractor, and operations to ensure construction work proceeds smoothly and efficiently.
  • Assist the CMT and contractor personnel with the use of digital and computer-based systems, as well as mobile field devices.
  • Provide administrative support, including logging and tracking action items, maintaining digital records, and general office tasks as required.
  • Act as a liaison between the CMT and engineering personnel to resolve issues such as RFIs (Requests for Information).
  • Review submitted construction schedules on a weekly basis and coordinate feedback from discipline superintendents within the CMT.
  • Collaborate with the CMT and contractor to validate the claimed schedule progress and escalate any discrepancies to the Construction Manager for resolution.
  • Track and, when necessary, calculate construction productivity.

Rotational 2 week in 2 week out 11 hour days on site, camp and flights out of Saskatoon and Prince Albert provided.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Coordinator in a heavy industrial setting.
  • Previous experience using mobile devices including field tablets.
  • Previous experience in construction is an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills required.
