We're looking for a dedicated Shipper/Receiver to join our team on the Midnight Shift (10:00 PM – 6:30 AM, Sunday – Thursday). To ensure a smooth transition, the successful candidate will complete 3–5 weeks of training on the Day Shift.

POSITION SUMMARY:
This individual will maintain an accurate inventory of parts at the designated locations and will be responsible for moving inventory to/from the receiving or shipping docks, packaging, and loading.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Load, unload, and move products within the department and onto/from trucks.
- Wrap and secure products per standard safety and quality procedures.
- Build crates and shipping packages using hand tools.
- Inspect products according to quality standards, promptly reporting any defects.
- Adhere to all safety, housekeeping, and operational rules.
- Ensure shipping crates and pallets are loaded and secured properly.
- Follow documented work instructions to maintain inventory control, including counting materials, work-in-process, and finished products.
- Coordinate with Material Handlers/Drivers to prioritize shipping and warehouse needs.
- Perform routine care and maintenance of tools and equipment.
- Report and address any non-conformities directly with the shop supervisor or relevant personnel.
- Utilize the manufacturing system to generate shipping bills.
- Embrace and support Lean and 5S initiatives to improve processes.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
- Ability to operate lift trucks, dollies, and pallet jacks.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work both independently and within a team.
- A proactive approach, demonstrating initiative and sound judgment in your daily tasks.
