POSITION: FPGA DesignerDURATION: Full-time permanent positionLOCATION: Peterborough, ONOverview:Experience in FPGA / PLD development experience ideally in aerospace, defense or medical product environments using VHDL or similar languages
Knowledge & experience with DO-254 or similar guidelines for ensuring a safe and rigorous design process
Capture, Define & Refine product specifications into a set of device level requirements including functional architecture, allocation & justification or derived requirements
Implementation of requirements into VHDL code including usage of existing IPs, standard protocols (e.g. Omnibus, Ethernet, SPI, I2C, AMBA, etc.)
Write and debug firmware code for FPGA devices
Perform testing and verification of FPGA designs
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to FPGA implementation
Stay updated with the latest advancements in FPGA technology
