Please proceed using the link: https://app.traits.com/survey/a56e7669-2ba6-4573-83cd-800831da5362POSITION OVERVIEW:Startec Refrigeration Service is currently recruiting a Field Construction Pipefitter to work at our Calgary, Alberta location (9423 Shepard Road SE, T2C 4R6). The Field Construction Pipefitter works closely with HVAC/Refrigeration Mechanics to lay out and fit up various piping components for construction projects. This role requires technical expertise, precision, and a commitment to safety and quality standards. This role requires a minimum of 10-hour workdays, with extended shifts being common. Some evening and weekend work may also be required to meet business and project demands.KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPI):EQUIPMENT INSTALLATION & PIPEFITTING (Weighting 60%)

• Install and place major equipment as per project requirements.
• Execute accurate pipe layout and fit-up.
• Fit socket and screwed small bore pipe efficiently.
• Perform tack welding as needed.

SYSTEMS INTEPRETATION (Weighting 20%)

• Interpret blueprints, schematic drawings, and manufacturer instructions to independently construct, assemble, and install equipment.

INVENTORY & DOCUMENTATION MANAGEMENT (Weighting 10%)

• Work with Parts personnel to order necessary supplies and maintain inventory records.
• Maintain heat number traceability on ISO drawings
• Preparing hand sketch ISO drawings as required
• Complete all required paperwork and reports accurately and promptly to support timely invoicing.

SAFETY & COMPLIANCE (Weighting 10%)

• Adhere to all safety rules and regulations, ensuring a secure work environment.
• Perform duties in compliance with Startec's Safety Manual and Quality Control program.
• Communicate with the service coordinator/dispatcher for job assignments and updates.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Journeyperson Pipefitter Certificate with Red Seal Interprovincial (Asset).
• Minimum 5 years of field experience.
• Previous HVAC/Refrigeration experience or exposure (Asset).
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License.
• Experience working under a Quality Management Systems
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
