CMP Group Ltd. (CMP) is a global manufacturing company with 6 manufacturing and distribution facilities throughout Canada, the United States, Italy, Australia, and China. CMP supplies the recreational and commercial marine industries with a broad range of products for various industry segments, including anchoring & ground tackle, corrosion, dock & boat accessories, and steering & controls. CMP manufactures and distributes products under the brands, Martyr, Rocna, Vulcan, Titan, Panther, Dock Edge, Octopus, Intellisteer, Sanitation Equipment and, Trollmaster.

The Growth Marketing Specialist is responsible for crafting advertising campaigns and managing events while being at the forefront of shaping our brand's narrative and growing our market presence. You will work closely with the Corporate Marketing Manager to develop, implement, track, and optimize our digital marketing campaigns across all digital channels. This includes performing day-to-day activities in Amazon Direct Fulfillment, WordPress, Google Suite, Paid Social, Zoho, and other software in the MarTech stack. You will also own and manage events, both virtual and in-person. This is an exciting opportunity where you'll be exposed to multiple facets of marketing. Each project you work on will serve as a stepping stone in your journey toward becoming a well-rounded marketing expert.

The ideal candidate will excel at analyzing marketing data to uncover insights, predict trends, and execute content campaigns that effectively drive growth across multiple digital channels, including paid search, paid shopping, paid social media, and Amazon e-commerce.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Campaign Design:

  • Own and execute the campaign and promotional strategy for content and events to scale business, attract new customers, and enhance customer loyalty.
  • Organize, build, and launch acquisition and nurture marketing campaigns including webinars, resource downloads, and events through various channels including email, social, digital ads, website, and others.
  • Act as project manager for campaigns, events, and website update projects, working closely with your marketing colleagues on content, design, video, etc., and other stakeholders like Engineering, Operations, and Sales teams.
  • Create and update campaign-specific landing pages, forms, and thank-you pages.

Paid Advertising:

  • Own and manage advertising accounts (e.g., Google Ads, Amazon Direct Fulfillment, Shopify App Store), overseeing strategy, channel selection, campaign execution, and audience targeting.
  • Lead the creation of paid marketing funnel strategies for diverse audiences, applying A/B testing for data-driven decision-making.
  • SEO/SEM for e-commerce: Optimize paid search campaigns for Amazon and other online marketplaces, ensuring best practices for e-commerce-specific SEM and technical SEO.
  • ROI and ROAS: Manage budget allocations for digital campaigns, ensuring cost-effective allocation and maximized ROI.

Administration and Collaboration with Data and Sales

  • Work closely with Data and Sales teams to ensure Zoho, Mailchimp, and other marketing software work seamlessly together.
  • Provide oversight of campaigns to make sure all campaigns are being completed on time and that the task process flows seamlessly across the team.
  • Lead events management by liaising with the sales team and other stakeholders to ensure all marketing-related aspects of events are handled effectively.
  • Coordinate logistics for in-person and virtual events, ensuring promotional materials, booth setups, and digital marketing align with event goals.
  • Follow up and process event information afterward, including tracking leads, post-event performance reporting, and gathering insights to improve future events.

Cross-Channel Analytics:

  • Oversee analytics across all marketing channels, including organic search, paid search, social media, email, and programmatic advertising, to ensure a cohesive, optimized approach.
  • Serve as a resource for other team members and support other initiatives when needed.
  • Continually learn, research, recommend, and implement marketing best practices, specifically for Amazon Direct Fulfillment and e-commerce SEO/SEM.

Attribution, Metrics, and Reporting

  • Contribute to the set-up, refinement, and ongoing measurements of key KPIs across different marketing channels and initiatives.
  • Manage dashboards and provide regular metrics updates.

Insights-Driven Content Creation:

  • Collaborate with internal and external customers to help produce compelling digital content (videos, infographics, articles) for web, social media, and SEO enhancement, with a particular focus on Amazon and other e-commerce platforms.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of experience in paid campaign management, with a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communication, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in Amazon Direct Fulfillment and e-commerce SEO/SEM expertise required.
  • Certification in Google Ads, Google Marketing Platforms/SaaS products, Amazon advertising, and/or e-commerce marketing is a plus.
  • 3+ years of ABM experience (asset)
  • 3+ years of experience in Digital Marketing: Proven ability to develop and execute high-converting marketing strategies based on data analytics. Deep understanding of demand generation strategies, e-commerce-specific SEO principles, landing page best practices, CRO, and the marketing technology ecosystem.
  • 3+ years of visual ad design/creation experience (asset)
  • 3+ years of B2C and B2B experience managing B2C and B2B performance marketing campaigns across diverse digital platforms (Google Ads, Amazon, Facebook/Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • 3+ years of experience in A/B Testing and Conversion Optimization: Demonstrated experience in executing and interpreting A/B tests, with a keen focus on conversion rate optimization (CRO).
  • Understanding of coding languages (e.g., SQL) for data querying and analysis is a plus. Familiarity with AI, CRM (Zoho), and other marketing automation tools.

HOURS

  • 8:00 m – 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday
  • Hybrid
