- $35-50 /hour, depending on experience

- Full time, days (7:30am-4pm)
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage energy systems, including cogeneration, diesel generators, chillers, boilers, and electrical switchgear.
- Assess weather, electrical grid status, and hydro pricing to optimize energy usage.
- Collaborate with electricians, contractors, and other departments in a Health Canada-regulated facility.
- Maintain equipment through regular preventative upkeep and perform repairs as needed.
- Document maintenance findings, schedule vendors, and manage parts procurement.
- Remotely monitor systems after hours and respond to alarms as required.
- Ensure safe and organized powerhouse operations.
- Skilled trade certificate or equivalent experience with facility power systems.
- Experience in power plant operations and control systems, with high-voltage switchgear experience as an asset.
- Strong mechanical skills and troubleshooting ability.
- Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in varied weather conditions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort with digital monitoring tools.
