Rate of Pay: $24.63/hr increasing to $27.17/hr after 12 months

Position Summary
As an Examiner you will be an integral part of our CBN manufacturing team, visually inspecting securely printed documents and identifying print imperfections that fall outside of our quality standards. The work is vitally important as it ensures the quality and authenticity of national currencies, passports, driver's licenses, and other secure documents that CBN produces for governments around the world.
Responsibilities
- Inspect printed documents (currency, passports, driver's licenses, tax stamps, etc.) and identify any flaws such as colour variations or print imperfections.
- Flag any document flaws that fall outside of established quality standards to the Production Supervisor for review.
- Count printed work (sheets, books, cards) quickly and accurately to ensure the number of documents printed matches the number expected.

Mandatory Requirements
- Language: Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
- Vision: Ability to pass a colour-blindness test.
- Physical Demands: Ability to bend, lift/carry 25 lbs. on a regular basis, stand and walk for prolonged periods, and perform repetitive work.
- Work Hours: Ability to work all shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends, 12-hour shifts).
- Security Clearance: Ability to obtain/maintain Government of Canada Secret (Level II) clearance.
