The Role

The Document Control person will be responsible for controlling and distributing Engineering documents both internally and to customers.


What You Will Do

  • Responsible for the control and distribution of engineering drawings internally and to clients for approval.
  • Record and track internal and external distribution of documents, prepare transmittals, and ensure the timely transfer of electronic files to and from client and our project team.
  • Responsible for document control project folder set up, folder maintenance process, creating Transmittal Logs and the point of contact for document, drawing number allocation.
  • Preparing standardized document / drawing numbering system with maintaining internal company standards and expectations
  • File documents in physical and digital records and ensure appropriate storage
  • Adhere to the company's document lifecycle procedures, processes and as required by the Project Manager/Design Lead.
  • Communicates changes to document control procedures or other relevant information which have been updated or added to the project team in discussion with Project Manager / Design Lead.

Knowledge & Qualifications

  • 2+ Years relevant experience in document control.
  • A Diploma in office administration or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience in working with Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook Excel and SharePoint
