Responsibilities:
- Establish contact with consumers (by telephone) and assist with the resolution of delinquent accounts (outbound and inbound calls)
- Negotiate payment of debts in accordance with client and company guidelines
- Investigate and advise on different forms of payment and/or settlement options
- Clearly document/update files on the system to support file activity
- Uphold the CCA Code of Conduct by ethically treating each consumer with integrity, honesty, dignity and respect at all times
Qualifications:
- 3rd party collections experience considered an asset
- Customer service and call centre experience considered an asset
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Self-motivated, goal and detail oriented
- Sound decision making and judgement
- Strong organizational skills
- Dedicated and ethical
- Ability to work individually and with a team in a fast paced environment
- Solid computer skills
- Strong grasp of the English language
- Successful candidates will be subject to a criminal record check
**Requirements:
- To meet provincial licensing requirements, candidates holding a Work Permit must ensure it has at least 6 months of validity remaining at the time of application.
- Proof of validity must be provided at the interview stage.
