About the Job

As a Software Developer at Vendasta, youll work closely with a talented team of Developers, Product Managers, and Designers to create new features and improve our platform. Youll have the opportunity to experiment with cutting-edge technologies while solving complex problems that drive real impact for our Partners and SMB customers. Your Impact

As a Software Developer, you'll work with your team to:

• Develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.
• Follow best practices in software engineering, including design patterns, CI/CD, code reviews, and automated testing.
• Work closely with Product Managers to design solutions that effectively connect digital solutions to SMBs.
• Provide insights and recommendations from data-driven analysis to improve system performance and scalability.
  
• Analyze and enhance system integrations, migration strategies, and existing architecture.
  
• Identify and resolve system errors and contribute to architectural improvements.
  

What You Bring to the Table

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in software development or a related field.
  
• Bachelors degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  
• Strong understanding of high-scalability, data-intensive, distributed internet applications.
  
• Proficiency in modern programming languages and a willingness to quickly learn our technology stack.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud-native computing using Google Cloud Platform.
  
• Familiarity with GoLang, TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, and Angular.
  
• Knowledge of databases such as Elasticsearch, MySQL, PostgreSQL.
  
• Experience with Kubernetes, GRPC and working with scalable cloud-based architectures.
