About the Role:

The Logistics Foreman plays a pivotal role in managing the company's logistics operations, encompassing fleet and yard maintenance, rental fleet management, and equipment oversight. This position is integral to supporting the logistical needs of Canoco's Four key divisions: Small Cap Projects, Turnarounds (TA), New construction and Shop Operations. As a hands-on leader, the Logistics Foreman spends approximately 80% of their time in the field, ensuring that all logistics, equipment, and rental needs are effectively met.

Key Responsibilities:

Logistics Management:

Direct shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate and timely handling of tools and equipment to the divisions. This could include local or out of town.

Develop and execute logistics strategies to support shop operations, field activities, and Small Cap Projects.

Provide comprehensive logistical support across divisions.

Work closely with the Director of Operations, Shop Manager, and Field Supervisor to align logistics activities with business objectives.

Implement strategies to enhance logistical efficiency and reduce costs.

Regularly analyze logistics processes for improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Ensure all logistics activities adhere to industry regulations and safety standards.

Fleet Maintenance & Management:

Manage the upkeep and repair of all fleet vehicles to ensure operational readiness and safety compliance. Vehicles must be ready for immediate deployment to sites or for rental.

Maintain, schedule, and oversee the rental fleet, ensuring vehicles and equipment are prepared for customer use. This includes conducting pre-and-post inspections.

Control inventory and maintain the condition of equipment, ensuring all tools and machinery are in optimal working order, up to date calibration, and available on demand.

Manage equipment requests from the field, ensuring everything is signed out, and conduct necessary inspections.

Yard Maintenance:

Oversee the organization and upkeep of the yard, including seasonal responsibilities like snow removal, to enhance operational efficiency and safety.

Leadership & Supervision:

Lead your team, fostering collaboration and productivity across Small Cap, Field, and Shop divisions.

Conduct regular performance reviews and provide continuous feedback and support to team members.

Maintain a safe working environment through regular safety audits and protocol implementation.
