Purpose of Position:
Installing, maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment

Reporting Structure:
HVAC technician, reports directly to their Retro Fit Service Manager or Supervisor
Primary Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret drawings and specifications to determine running of Linesets
- Install, repair, and maintain heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems
- Low Voltage Control wiring
- Final Hook-up and Commissioning of Air Conditioners & Heat Pumps if JM or assist as an apprentice
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure the efficient operation of HVAC equipment
- Servicing of Existing Refrigeration and HVAC Equipment
- Confer with Service Team, Contractors and Suppliers to resolve any issues
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards in all work activities
- Journeyman Red Seal or Apprentice in Refrigeration and HVAC
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques
- Excellent problem-solving and decision making
- Ability to decipher electrical diagrams
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal communication
- Ability to meet sensitive timelines
- Ability to adapt to the changes in day-to-day workloads
