OVERVIEW:

From corrugated packaging, paper bags, retail displays, pre-print, supply and inventory management, paper mills and recycling, Atlantic is strategically positioned to provide customers with a total packaging solution.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

The ERP Systems Administrator is an integral team member of Atlantic's Enterprise Applications group responsible for leveraging technology to revolutionize our core capabilities to maximize business outcomes. This role will join a growing team that will contribute to the digital delivery portfolio within Atlantic. Our technology projects underpin Atlantic's digital strategy, which is focused on systems, data, and automation.

The ERP Systems Administrator will possess a strong working knowledge and technical expertise in ERP systems with a functional understanding of various ERP modules like Sales, Purchase, Planning, Job shop, Distribution & Finance.

This role will focus on global systems deployment and will play a critical role in overseeing Atlantic Packaging's ERP system including system administration and long-term planning of the organization ERP system.

The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the ERP system is optimized to meet the organization's business goals.

Location: Scarborough, Ontario (currently hybrid). Work location and hybrid schedule may be subject to change based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Administration: Oversee the configuration, installation, and maintenance of the Infor LN and Baan ERP system. Ensure that the system is always running efficiently and securely.
  • Performance Tuning and Optimization: Monitor and analyze system performance, troubleshoot performance issues, and optimize system configurations for better performance and resource utilization.
  • System Security: Ensure that proper security measures are in place, including user role management, User access administration at all levels of the system, Create and maintain security roles and data protection. Perform regular security audits and implement the best practices for system security.
  • Software Updates and Patches: Manage the planning and execution of Infor LN software updates, patches, and service packs to keep the system up-to-date and functioning with the latest features and security patches.
  • Backup and Recovery: Implement, test, and manage data backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
  • System Integration: Oversee integration of Infor LN, Baan with other systems (e.g., third-party applications, databases, and custom solutions) to ensure seamless data flow and process automation.
  • User Support and Troubleshooting: Provide technical support for end-users, troubleshoot issues, and ensure resolution in a timely manner. Document resolutions and contribute to the knowledge base.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with functional consultants, project managers, and IT teams to implement and maintain the ERP system in alignment with business needs.
  • System Monitoring: Proactively monitor system health, logs, and performance to ensure optimal uptime and availability. Generate system reports and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation on system configurations, processes, procedures, and troubleshooting guides for internal reference and knowledge sharing.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing of new configurations, patches, and upgrades to ensure no disruptions to the business.
  • Change Management: Participate in change management activities, ensuring that system modifications are carefully planned, tested, and documented to prevent business disruptions.
  • Update Canned reports based on business requirements.
  • Develop guidelines, checklists, procedures, and training documentation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in: LN tools/ BI/ IIS/ ION/Infor OS/IDM/Web Applications Administration/Factory Track Administration.
  • Experience with Infor CloudSuite or cloud-based deployments, LN ERP Installations, Configurations, Migrations, Integrations & Administration.
  • Hands on experience on ERP LN Tools Modules and working knowledge on RDBMS such as SQL/Oracle
  • Knowledge of ERP integrations with other enterprise systems (CRM, SCM, etc.).
  • Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages. Any Scripting Knowledge for Automations will be added Advantage.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Working knowledge on IDM and Data Fabric/DataLake will be added Advantage.
  • Certifications: Infor LN or relevant certifications in system administration and ERP management are a plus.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to identify and resolve complex system issues.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Experience working with cross-functional teams, including IT, functional consultants, and business users.
