Position Overview:
The Coordinator, Real Estate Investments is responsible for supporting the Real Estate Investments & Acquisition team overseeing coordinator responsibilities including, Investment Support, Financial Analysis & Market Research, and Investor & Capital Markets Support. Reporting to the VP, Real Estate Investments and Acquisition this role collaborates closely with team members on Forums active development project, acquisitions pipeline, PowerPoint presentations, market research and analysis, to ensure successful deal execution and investment initiatives.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Investment Support
- Assist in deal execution, underwriting, and due diligence processes across prospective development and core-plus opportunities
- Analyze investment opportunities, support proforma assumptions and prepare financial models.
- Conduct risk assessments and scenario analysis for potential investments.
Financial Analysis & Market Research
- Support market data collection & financial reporting.
- Collect and analyze market data to identify investment trends and opportunities.
- Support financial reporting and performance tracking of existing investments.
- Assist in preparing valuation models and pro forma analyses.
Investor & Capital Markets Support
- Assist in investment committee materials & fund reporting.
- Prepare materials, presentations, and reports.
- Support investor relations by assisting with reporting and communication.
Candidate Profile:
Education: Bachelors in Finance, Real Estate, or Economics.
Experience: New or recent grad with 0-2 years (Internships in real estate investment banking, asset management, PE, or real estate brokerages).
Strong market research, financial reporting, and investment analysis skills.
Basic financial modeling, understanding of real estate investment concepts and underwriting experience.
Highly organized & detail-oriented.
Strong analytical skills with high proficiency in Excel.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and within a team, managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Working in-office 5 days per week
