SLINGER TRUCK OPERATOR / DRIVER

GCS Group is looking for an experiencedSlinger Truck Operator. The work is based in the Edmonton area.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Prior experience driving and operating a Slinger Truck
• Assisting with backfill crews on telecom projects
• Ability to work in congested residential areas
• Ability to assist with other tasks as needed
• Complete all required commercial vehicle and safety documentation
• Drive in a safe and courteous manner

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior experience operating a Slinger Truck;
• Available and flexible to work Monday to Saturday for required hours (10 - 12 hours per day);
• Valid Class 1 or Class 3 drivers license;
• Clean 5 year commercial driver's abstract required;
  
• Strong manual dexterity and hand eye coordination;
• Safety conscious attitude is critical;
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance and diligent in maintaining equipment;
• Physically fit and capable of lifting +50lbs;
• Strong work ethic;
• Ability to work in a fast- paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks;
  
• Reliable, dependable, and punctual

SAFETY CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• CSTS 2020
• WHMIS 2015
• Intermediate First Aid
• Ground Disturbance Level 2
• Commercial Driver Training
